Funny how things work out. The past two months it's been me and the dogs travelling round southern England in Rusty, in a bid to stay away from the neighbour from hell, while waiting for a new place to come available to live in - true renegades of the road the four of us - and on the very evening I'm driving back from looking round our new place, with a view to moving in on Friday, I get news from Dixie McCorkell (how I love that name!), a DJ and promoter of independent country music in the USA who I haven't heard from for a while, that the two songs of mine that are being played on her syndicated radio shows have been played to death and are in the top ten most played tracks, and the DJs are crying out for new stuff from me - so what more appropriate new song of mine to send her than, yep, 'Renegade of the Road'?
