Very excited about playing tomorrow (Wednesday 9 October) at White Horse Live, the folk club run by Nick Hooper at the White Horse Inn at Stonesfield near Woodstock (the Oxfordshire one - not too many hippies round these parts). It's just a 20-minute set that myself, David Menday and Braham Levy will be playing as an Acousticana showcase (David and Braham hold regular Acousticana evenings there on the first Wednesday of the month), but David will be accompanying me on my two, and when we practised the other evening, his guitar added such a wonderfully haunting quality to 'All Along' that it was hard to keep my mind on singing when all I wanted to do is listen to him! The other song I'm playing - with David once again - is one I haven't done in a long while - my homage to American diners, 'Table for Two'. It feels good to be playing it once more - almost like it's a brand-new song again :) It'd be lovely to see any of you who live near enough to fancy a trip out to Stonesfield!
